2025 Fall Baseball

Hello Parent or Guardian,

Thank you for registering your child with Norwalk Little League. For 70 years, Norwalk Little League has provided our service to the community. Your Board of Directors, Coaches, and Team Parents, will do their best to make sure Fall 2025 is the best season we have ever had.

For the upcoming Spring season, we are going to offer the following Divisions:

Juniors - MLB Field Dimensions
Intermediate- 50 ft pitching mound, 70 ft base path, to help transition our Majors Division to the MLB Field. For our League Age 13 players.
Majors - Culminates to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA
Minor A - Player pitch division to help the players prepare for Majors
Minor B - Initial player pitch division so players can get accustomed to live pitching and more in game movement as they prepare for Minor A
Minor C - Coach pitch division so players may get accustomed to the larger fields and prepare for Minor B
Tee Ball - Introduction to players to learn how to play and love the game of baseball.
New Challenger Division - We are excited to announce this new offering from the League where individuals with physical and intellectual challenges can participate in Little League

For Fall, all players who are new to the league and League Age 7 (age 7 or Older on/before August 31, 2025) and older, are required to “tryout” for the League. The purpose of the tryout is to give coaches the opportunity to evaluate the player’s skill set so they are placed in the Division where they can see the most success and continue improve their skills. If you are attempting to move up to the next division, please Let us know.

If you are not sure what your child’s League Age, Please get in contact with the league and we can help get you that information.

Tryouts for Spring 2025 will be held on Early August and at Gerdes Park, 14700 Gridley Ave Norwalk. It is important that we have as many players make the tryout date, so we can start building teams and order jerseys well before the season begins. At the Evaluation Day, we will also be expecting to collect all Residency documentation as well as Medical Releases, and we will also have our sample Jerseys, so that you can try on the Jersey to make sure that you order the correct fit.

There are a lot of great events and activities coming this season including:

Opening Day - Festive event for all players and teams to kick off our season. There will be games and fun events for all. Tentatively scheduled for March 8th.
Trunk or Treat- Another opportunity to use that halloween costume
Halloween Parade- Walk in the city of Norwalk Parade and hand out candy/Registration card and have a fun time.
Closing Ceremonies - A community event to close out the Spring Season, handout awards, and announce All-Stars.

As you can see, we have a lot planned for this Spring Season, and it is wonderful that you and your family will be a part of it.

Please note that our pricing is a total upfront cost, with no hidden or delayed funds collected later such as raffle tickets, chocolate sales, etc. When including this information, we often beat other leagues in our value!

In our short time together, we hope you will see improvement in your child’s skills, communication, and confidence.
